Do This To Never Run Out of Things to Write About

Photo by Max Felner on Unsplash

Let me tell you about my morning.

8 am, wake up. Breakfast, exercise, sit down to write. In an hour and a half, I’m done with writing.

I wrote 2 stories + my newsletter. Rapid, effective, and well done.

Not bad.

Now I’m moving on to doing my other daily tasks. I don’t know about you but I love being productive. No distractions until I’m done with all my tasks.

I love it when everything is clean and ordered.

What’s my secret?

I’ll tell you how I’m able to have an Idea for 2 stories every single day. (Without being stuck, thinking in front of my white wall)

Take your life as an example

When I’m just “living” it gets me thinking about an article I could write. All the stuff around me: my routine, relationships, business ideas, productivity systems, etc… All those topics could be my next story.

I love to write about how I solve problems. That’s what people are searching for most of the time.

Just look at the number of relationship advice on Medium. (I could take any other topic it would be the same thing) There are tons of them.

Have you ever thought why are they working so well?

Because people search for solutions.

Find what problems you have solved in your life and share them with the world.

Writing in your head (With life)

When I write in the rhythm of life it’s always goes smoother. Some days I’ll sit down and think about other things I must do.

Instead of sitting stuck in my thoughts. I’ll go and do my stuff to be free to write.

But while doing my stuff I’ll think about my story writing it in my head. It’s much better than just thinking while doing nothing.

This way I’m done with my stuff. When I finally sit down to write — I can’t type fast enough.

It’s the best way to write. (You have to try it)

Bank Of Ideas

Always write down your ideas when you have them. I’m writing them in the form of titles. Just the title — it takes 20–30 seconds.

If you have more time, you can add some key ideas.

You will understand how powerful this technique is.

Sometimes I think I don’t have anything to write about. Then I checked my notes and found tons of ideas I had already forgotten.

Plan The Day Before

The day before I know what story I’ll write. I’m checking in my saved titles and choosing one idea. Then (It takes 3–4 minutes) I’m writing the plan.

By the “Plan,” I mean the Subtitles you see in my stories.

Another 3–4 minutes to rethink the title (make it catchy).

50% of the job is done.

Sometimes I have a bad day though. This time I don’t overthink. I write as it comes to me.
