Do This and You’ll Be Loved By Every Writer On Medium Period.

Actions speak louder than words.

Firstly, this is something that I would put all my operations aside and take the time to write about.

Secondly, this story was inspired by Daniel T. But a 180-degree example.

Third, thanks to Cyn BehindMind for recommending a writer to come read my post.

Is there anything that a reader/writer does that you love?

Lovable action at first sight may be rare and unreal on Medium but tonight the actions from this writer absolutely nailed it. (this will be post morning)

We all know that engagement is the only controllable factor that we not only show how we interact but also a form of communication that builds trust and relationships that last.

I received a notification screen that I had not seen for a while.

Her name is Sandy Austin, which I know nothing about her yet.

But the beauty of Medium is we don’t judge by who you are but rather see what you bring up to the table.

Now the action you have been waiting for.

Image of a reader doing engagement correctly.

Read, highlight, clap, and comment, or read, highlight, comment, and clap.

Both are a good way to engage with content. (writer dream about these daily)

From the time she followed and highlighted, I’m sure she read it (that was a short post) and in the second post, she took her time to comment 4 minutes later.

Engagement is the simplest thing to do yet many still fail or cannot see the essence of it.

Just act like a genuine human, didn’t even have to try that hard.

Trying to game the system always ends with more unnecessary work. (which is designed for bots to do, you got the irony?)

Even though she has only 3 followers and 2 posts, you can tell this is not a normal amateur.

  1. She has FOM on, she is ready to read a lot and support writers first.
  2. She picks 2 of the non-poplar posts but knows that I will see it easily. Was it planned or random, the instinct move is there.
  3. After reading both of her posts tell a good story. The rest you can read for yourself.

You’ll most likely have to read both of them to see what I’m talking about.

Okay, now back to what was I doing?

Oh right, writing about how to not get distracted when focusing on a task.

Sometimes a Notification changes everything not just on Medium.

Thanks for Reading and Stay Focus.
