Do These 6 Things After 6 PM to Get 1% Better Life
It’s easy to overlook the hours after 6 PM

After finishing our 9 to 5-day job, the majority of us often spend the remainder of the day either watching stand-up comedies and movies or simply scrolling through Instagram.
It’s easy to overlook the hours after 6 PM because we are tired from working and fulfilling responsibilities the whole day.
But it’s the one time of the day when we have the freedom of our time. We own this time.
Can we try to switch off and escape the phone?
If yes, trust me after 6 PM could change your life from normal to a far better version.
Try these 6 ideas and you can use the best out of this time.
1/ Work on one thing that you want to achieve at any cost
Lindsey Stirling
For those who don’t know who she was, Lindsey Stirling is an American violinist, dancer, and composer who has a remarkable story of pursuing her passion against the odds.
She faced rejection from major record labels who didn’t know how to categorize her music.
Despite the setbacks, Lindsey persisted and turned to YouTube to share her performances and original compositions.
She used the after 6 PM hours to practice like crazy and entered the profession she always wanted to achieve.
Each of us is like Lindsey Stirling.
We have hopes and dreams. We have a goal outside of our jobs that we seek to achieve but don’t know how. Or we haven’t spent enough hours on it to reach mastery.
One of the smartest things you can do after 6 p.m. is work on that one goal or dream you want to achieve.
2/ Think something, anything, and Write it down
When we think our mind is forced to form creativity.
Writing, the thought of creativity forces us to connect the dots and ideas that our mind is forced to think.
The point is this: everyone should be writing every day. Writing is how you experience some small level of creativity.
Writing is secret networking
The people you meet eventually help you build your empire.
3/ Spend time with your loved ones
Many people work till late to earn more or to fulfill responsibilities. And they miss the meal of the day and don’t see their families.
Or if they are at home for dinner they’re stuck on a work Zoom call or zoned out looking at their phone at the dinner table instead of the faces of their loved ones.
I used to do the same. While eating, all my eyes were on my phone but now I have started changing.
Watching your loved ones and speaking to them is important as it helps create a bond within but it also helps us to give a reason to take action, risk it all, and be uncomfortable to give more to them.
Seeing your family after 6 p.m. reminds you of why you do what you do. That daily realization bleeds into everything you do.
4/ Lock the Kitchen
We all have a habit of eating cookies and chips at night when we feel hungry.
Eating heavy or greasy junk food before bed can lead to digestive discomfort, including indigestion, heartburn, and acid reflux.
This can disrupt your sleep and leave you feeling uncomfortable.
So when we stop eating anything after dinner, our body gets the time to digest it properly. I find I wake up with more energy if I’ve prolonged my evening fast.
5/ Join the connection with God
My mom would be meditating right now
Despite all the busy schedules we have, taking a little time before bed to connect with god is essential.
My mom always taught me to say good night and thanks to God as she was in a habit of doing that.
From childhood till now it’s there within me.
Being grateful for whatever we have and will achieve later makes us feel in comfort and peace.
6/ At least stretch a bit
We have a habit of jumping in the couch just after finishing our offices or 9 to 5.
While our jobs don’t allow our bodies many moments.
It is important to do at least half an hour of stretching and exercising to give the body flexibility.
