Do Not Feel Ashamed For Giving Little — Because Refusal Is Smaller Than That:

Make Big Intentions — Allah (swt) is so so merciful and even if you don’t get around to achieving all you wanted to, Insha’Allāh you’ll be rewarded.

Umar (r.z) Narrated that he heard the Prophet (saw) said, “The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions & every person will get the reward according to what he has intended.” (Bukhari)

Shaytaan is keen to make the Muslim Fall into one of two things:

Either to make him do a Good deed in order to show off and For the sake of his reputation, and not sincerely For the sake of Allah.

Or to make him refrain From doing the Good deed altogether— and making him think that the job is too small.

The Muslim who is sincere in his intention will not pay any attention to the whispers that the Shaytaan tries to impart to him concerning his action — or his suggestion that it is not For the sake of Allah.

He will not pay attention to the whispers of the Shaytaan suggesting that he should refrain From doing the good deed For Fear of showing off. The sincere heart is equally at ease both when doing good deeds in secret and when doing good deeds openly.

Find one Small Deed that you can carry out on a daily basis For the rest of the Year and make a determined effort to complete that deed every day. The key is to ensure that it is ‘Small’ and easy enough For you to be able to carry out on a daily basis.

Abu Hurairah Narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:

“Take on only as much as you can do of good deeds, For the best of deeds is that which is done consistently, even if it is little.”(Sunan Ibn Majah 4240).

Consistency is a key — So even if you do a little (if you’ve got a jam packed tiresome schedule) do it consistently and InshAllah Allah will be more pleased with you. Rather than trying to do so much and you exhaust yourself From all other responsibilities.

Giving Sadaqah helps us achieve Taqwa — It is taqwa or the Fear of Allah that propels Muslims to obey Allah’s commands and keeps us From doing evils and what is Forbidden.

“You will never achieve Taqwa until you donate some of what you cherish. And whatever you give is certainly well known to Allah.” (Surah Al- Imran: 92).

Know that whatever we have is a Blessing from Allah(swt) — we did absolutely nothing to deserve what we have and not be From those in need, so give whilst you have before you’re in a position where you’re unable to. Remember that $5 with genuine sincerity is better than mountains of gold given without sincerity or to show off etc.

So the point is — that while doing good deeds, we should not think that such a small act will not solve the problem of others.

Every human being should think of benefiting each other and the religion of Islam only orders us to spread goodness and advice. In this way Unity and Strength will come between us and justice will spread in the world.Muslims give Good advice to each other.

May Allah(swt) accept our Good deeds and Forgive our sins. (Ameen).

JazakAllah (May Allah Reward You [with] Goodness)For Reading.
