Do NOT Diss the Kitty
March Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Pet People”
Look at ME, Grandma — not Facebook!
Bubba’s beloved Daddy (my son) went away for four days. This monster of cuteness and fluff (aka his son) drove me bonkers!
Bubba was in my face 24/7. He slept on my chest, paws pressing my trachea or kneading my jugular, in a calculated attempt to feed him — or eliminate me.
Both are possible; the former more likely.
He followed me, yowled incessantly, and was relentlessly annoying if I attempted to do anything that denied him the center of attention.
Knowing his demanding habits would eventually render him bored, I waited patiently, with my cell camera at the ready. I was soon rewarded with his outstretched pose hogging my space with a delicious kitty yawn.
Yes! He was fiercely annoying but a total pussycat; harmless and cute! There’s nothing sweeter than capturing a furry one looking menacing when they’re so not.
I’m rather glad my son is now home. Bubba has completely ignored me since his return.
The nerve!
I’ve been reannointed — perhaps demoted — to granny status. Little do Bubba and Booboo know I supply their meals and litter. They’d be toast without Grandma.
Don’t bite the hand that feeds kitties…!
