You’ve Gotta Keep Hustlin’
Discovering What You’re Really Made Of
Find out what you’re good at and do it for a living

In general, the word “hustle” is a slang term meaning “to work with energy and creativity.” In the modern sense, to hustle means to get things done.
It takes great hustle to maintain the balance between your personal and professional life.
You see the term used in movies with African American actors or athletes who are striving hard to achieve their dreams.
Every young entrepreneur dreams of the day when their small business is wildly successful, but it takes more than faith to get there.
You need a strategy. You need to be realistic about your abilities and skills — knowing what you’re good at and using that talent to create an income stream that will become your one true hustle.
Do you dream of making your passion your paycheck? You’re not alone. Maybe you want to quit your day job and become a full-fledged writer. Maybe you want to start your own business, a catering company or clothing line, maybe it’s designing games or selling crafts — whatever it is, there are a few steps to take before you can make your dream a reality:
Find out what you’re good at.
Get your name, brand, and skills out there to build a network of people who can help you succeed.
Get yourself in front of potential customers or clients.
Make it happen
How can you determine what you’re good at? The easiest way to find out is to try a lot of different things. If you enjoy it, then great — if not, try something else.
Follow your passion and hone the skills that make it possible for you to be successful. Then find out how to make it work.
If you love writing, maybe you can make it work full-time as a blogger. Take an idea that’s successful and make your own version.
Or if you love styling but don’t see the potential in starting a fashion blog, start styling for people and find out who is interested in your services.
Being successful requires more than creativity; it requires hard work, time management, and money management skills to create a sustainable business.
Those are skills that can be learned — and you don’t have to be a personal finance expert to do it. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, like from your family or friends.
They may offer suggestions for articles you can write, designers that might have a need, or even clients who could buy your services.
For someone just starting out, there are a lot of resources available for learning how to start a business and managing money and finances.
As the saying goes, it doesn’t matter how good you are at something — if no one is buying what you’re selling, it won’t fly.
You’re going to have to be persistent and keep things moving forward.
You won’t become successful overnight.
It takes time, but it can happen quickly if you put in the work;
“Luck happens when preparation meets opportunity.”
