Discipline Has Roots
Motivation will get you there. Discipline will give you the power to stay there.

Motivation VS Discipline by Mar, and she says:
Setting a goal is essential, it is the first step to turn a wish into a more realistic goal. On the one hand, we have motivation, which is more related to an emotional aspect. Discipline allows you to get up to run that day that you really want to do it, but also the day that you don’t. Once you are a disciplined person, the path to your goal will seem much clearer to you.
I have lots of bad habits. Discipline, doing my best, and doing the right things are a few. (They are good habits that annoy some people. Not everyone is happy when I do my best)
I can motivate myself, or I can allow you to demotivate me. Being aware gives me that power and knowledge.
You cannot achieve success without Motivation and Discipline. But discipline gives you something motivation don’t.
The hard part for many of us is not getting there. It’s staying there.
Motivation will get you there. Discipline will give you the power to stay successful.
Reasons fuel our actions. The stronger your ‘WHY,’ the hungrier you will be. That will significantly increase your chances of achieving your dream.
Self-restraint helps you to create a routine. Even if your desire decreases because of a lack of challenges, your conduct will maintain its practice.
Here is an example:
In my country, school begins at 7:30 AM. I had to take two buses to get there. I hate to be late. Every morning at 5:00 AM in high school, I woke up to get myself ready for school. One morning I woke up on a Saturday and wondered why my brother and sisters were still asleep. After getting dressed, I woke my brother up, who reminded me that today was Saturday. Imagine the shock. Discipline’s routine can be overwhelming.
More than thirty years later, my body clock is set. I am up before the sun no matter where I am, even if I have nothing planned for the day. That habit contributed to my success, giving me a reputation for being early all of the time. If I am late, I get understanding from the people I work for and with.
Maintaining my willpower has impacted all areas of my life. That is a good thing.
Lack of challenges can stifle motivation, but discipline often takes root and sometimes never leaves. Your ability to restrain yourself can also save your life.
