Digital and Offline Scrapbooking Can Go Together
The Technology Advancements Are a Real Advantage

A new way to use online and offline tools separately and together for scrapbooking can increase your scrapbooks’ enjoyment. The white in the layout above is transparent so you can insert your picture.
Anyone ever experienced getting to the photo drive-up or drugstore to pick up your pictures just as they were closing? Sometimes they will let you come in to pick up your pictures, and sometimes they will not. Did you ever have to wait until the next day to get the developed pictures? You can avoid all of that excitement or drama.
You can add a new level to complete your work on your scrapbook pages by doing scrapbook projects using online software and digital scrapbooking tools.
My digital camera and photo retouching tools on my computer are an easier way to go now. They are much easier than having the pictures developed the way I used to have them done.
The technology advancements are a real advantage for everyone but learning how-to and then using them has a bit of a learning curve. It is well worth the time you might spend to learn.
How to capture little memories

You can still use your creativity, select your colors and layouts, and put the borders with your chosen embellishments on the pages. Having the tools allows you to have the quality you enjoy and saves you a great deal of effort in the process.
Moving items from one page to another as your project moves along is easy to do as well. Changing the flow is just done with a click of a mouse rather than removing the items and being concerned that they might be damaged or torn when removed from the glue you used on a real page. The white area on the sample is transparent so you can put your image in the frame.
Now, here is another thought about real scrapbooks versus digital scrapbooks. You might like the texture of the actual scrapbook items where the digital version is a flat picture of the page.
Add a new level to complete your work on your scrapbook.
So why not consider something like this. Make your arrangement on the digital software, then when you get it just the way you like it, use it as a design template for a real scrapbook. It will make your entire scrapbook assembly go faster. You will not have any anxious moments about when you wanted to remove an item to move it to another page of the scrapbook. You would have already done that in your digital scrapbook version.
You can send the digital version to your friends and family and have a real understanding in person when they come to visit. That way, you save shipping, do not have to worry about item damage in shipping or arriving on time. They get the pleasure of seeing your work and knowing when they see you in person, and they can also see the real scrapbook and touch and enjoy the textures of the items you used.
Your online version will always serve as a backup. The one you have at your location if there is a weather or disaster situation that might have destroyed the real version.
You can use your digital photos and scrapbook to recreate another real one if you want to do that. You might not get everything back the way it was. Still, a great majority of the items can be relocated or recreated so you can have the experience of touching the actual thing that some of us enjoy.
Be sure you do a back up of the digital scrapbook onto a flash drive to have it if you change computers.
Online and offline tools for scrapbooking
These two tools together can increase your enjoyment of the scrapbooking process. They each have their place separately, but together they create a fantastic set of tools and resources.
Being a creative person can allow you to preserve your memories and give your family members unique gifts or keep them for yourself. Scrapbooks are just one of the ways to have the memories preserved and do it in such a way as to capture the memories of the events.
