Different
A Short poem regarding the misdirection of children.
Time calls the chosen to walk the test.
It is okay to be different from the rest.
The spider and the fly have different perceptions.
No one tries to label their conceptions.
Humans try to kill what they don’t understand.
Perhaps to much for them to comprehend.
Everyone is not going to fit the mold.
History has repeated what is told.
Why some choose to make distinctions.
Humanity is cold to what it’s not seeking.
Apples and Oranges are different without judgement.
Why when it comes to people it is an argument.
We are quickly labeled if we don’t fit their mold.
Are people so different now they need to be told?
By what and whom has chosen this gloom.
Children were not meant to be locked in a room.
When I look to statistics, over the last 4 decades.
More children are labeled, more games of charades.
Funny When I went to school, no one was labeled.
No concessions were made for the children tabled.
This was before technology.
We read our books and played frisbee.
We see now the world is a different place.
Tragically yet another disgrace.
