Did You Know This About Me?
Things you might not know about me.
What do I have to tell when I already introduced myself? And I really don’t what I have to tell you about me. It is so difficult to say anything about me.
Well, well, who do we have here? Yes, me — Agnes, another human being on earth, who loves classical music a lot and I am too passionate about, I love writing too much, I want the best for my children, I live in The Netherlands, and always have regrets when I ate pizza — even though I love pizza. Make that any sense?
Ok, this is just little things that make me happy, playing the violin and trying to be good, and while I am not, but I am trying to. This is my passion from A-Z: playing the violin, listening to classical music, finding talented musicians, other than violinists. These days, the viola is also an instrument I listen a lot to. When I was a six I played the cello for one year before starting to play the violin, and now I listen to the cello again. That dark sound, amazing.
These fingers are mine. I get this when I play the violin, sometimes black from the fingerboard. When you practice more hours than you intended to do, your fingers hurt, but I don’t mind, it really reminds me of the sacrifices I make for something I am passionate about. The hours I am totally in one with myself and I am one with another child: my violin.
I am totally fine with getting these fingers, just a big reminder that it is ok to not be perfect. No, not perfect at all. I am just a huge mess in life, chaotic in everything I do, and above all, I am bad at keeping up the planning I have, and the goals for the day. But hey, that is just life, my life. Part of me and I believe I find it difficult to get another habit. Do I even want to change? And I have a good story about Maxim Vengerov. I love his way of playing his instrument (there are so much moe violinists I love). O, yes these great violinists play in great concert halls, I have played in a few of them too.
I write also, almost every day here on Medium, but also I am trying to be good but is not, but love to write is my passion. I have a few publications I own. But being an editor of ILLUMINATION and ILLUMINATION-Curated is so much fun, that I publish here more often than my own pubs. That is fine, but I will pubkishe in my own pubs more often from now on. From nature and earth things I wanted to know about, to parenting experiences, to everyday life stuff, to music things, to any kind of relationship tips, to technology stuff I don’t know about, and to art related kind of tips and tricks.
Enjoying every article I write, just be ensure that everything is not perfect, but just to enjoy it, as well as being my own critic and to the things I learn from others. Someone like Dr Mehmet Yildiz, who gave me a chance to be an editor to get new skills on my portfolio, but not only he taught me things. Also the o so lovely Britni Pepper with all her wordy stories, and then there are Geetika Sethi who let me fall in love with poetry, Tree Langdon, CPA, CGA who is such a great advisor, and @ all the other editors (I’m sorry it will be too long), who are great teachers in the editorial room. I am grateful to be along them. It feels like a big family.
Nature is my best friend, to make sure I can recharge myself when I have a day off as a human being because I take everything through my emotions — which takes a lot of energy in my mind and body. But never complain as I also believe that is part of being a human being.
Walking through the woods in my neighborhood is such a fulfilling task. No obligation or a need, just a feeling to be one of nature. Or just cycle for a bit to another forest. I love it and explore it further. When I have the time, I go with a friend a little bit further.
O, another hobby of mine is photography, nature, human beings, and more. It is sad that I have to save for another camera as mine is dead. But trying to make something of mobile phone photography. Now that is what it is these days, so you can share it with the world right away. On one hand, you have the world under your shoes.
Here are some pictures I made, but as I am my critic, I think it is not good enough, but I’ll see what the road brings me in this field.
Since thirteen years, I am also parenting. I have three beautiful daughters. 13, 11, and 7 years old. I am so much in fond of them, they are doing well and have diverse hobbies.
They don’t want their picture to be in this article, so I respect their decision, and I also want to protect my daughters. You will never know what kind of creapy person use them.
Presenting the radio is also an hobby of mine. I present the local politics every three or four weeks live. That is always exciting, because the technique is not always working properly, but nevertheless I love it.
