I am creating 12 doodle exercises in 12 days. This series will be made of one-minute articles that will help you quickly generate ideas and unleash your creativity. This is the fifth article (the first four articles are here, here, here, and here).

Get your pencil and notebook. Draw a flower with 12 petals, like the one below. Here is your challenge:

For example, here is how I did this exercise:

  • First and foremost, I would love to create a 3D exhibition of my doodles and artwork in the Metaverse (perhaps in the fashion district in Decentraland).
  • Second, I would love to organize a doodle artwork exhibition, showcasing my best doodles.
  • Third, I would love to experiment with conceptual art. I might create surreal, futuristic, or postmodern art. I might play with disruptive art ideas.
  • Fourth, I would love to transform business education through the power of creativity and arts. Towards this goal, I would love to organise creativity hackathons where students use their imagination and create their own assets. Students would experiment with diverse forms of art, such as painting, dancing, drawing, singing, improvising, acting, doodling, sculpting, designing, etc.
  • Fifth, I would like to create an art book of doodles and doodling (which includes lots of exercises).
  • Sixth, I want to be experiment with paper crafts and origami. In particular, I want to invent new paper products and stationery innovations.
  • Seventh, I want to try out new formats and performances on my YouTube channel (and my TikTok). I am interested in creating my own shows and formats combining improvisation, comedy, teaching, and storytelling.
  • Eighth, I want to create guides to inspire and empower everyone to be creative. Everyone is creative and can tap into their creativity through simple activities, such as doodling, writing, video-making, and notebook-keeping. I want to provide a library of exercises and resources for individuals interested in practicing their creativity.
  • Ninth, I want to practice creative writing. I might experiment with science fiction or short stories.
  • Tenth, I would like to design and develop workshops to help individuals to unleash their creativity.
  • Eleventh, I want to create conceptual doodles in the fields of mental models, work, learning, careers, creativity, content creation, storytelling, micro-entrepreneurship, and asset creation.
  • Twelfth, I want to be a curator of arts and pop culture to review trends in technology, cinema, TV, music, social media, comedy, fashion, visual arts, science fiction, and entertainment. I want to use multidisciplinary and futurist perspectives to understand social, cultural, and technological trends.

It is your turn now. Do the exercise now — it will be very rewarding for you. In 12 minutes, you will create your 12 ideas. Write them on the flower petals.

I will continue this exercise series over 12 days. Each day, you receive a straightforward creative challenge of creating 12 ideas in 12 minutes.
