For a successful startup detox your life first!

Many startups fail because of many distractions and obstacles founders and innovators face pretty much every single day and when you consider opening a new business you’d need a clean mindset and you also need to be way many things that can just plunge your startup dreams.
People who aren’t smart
If you want to succeed, get rid of them. Those people don’t seem to like when others are pursuing what they want. “Unsmart people” tend to be jealous for your successions or your pathway to success because they think they can’t make it and they know you are walking on the right direction so they always want you to exit the highway of success and take small streets that would get you lost causing you to either delay on reaching your destination or even never reaching it. I personally came to figure this out back in October 2017. I used to hang out with people of all types: smart, dumb, average and I didn’t have a problem because I like to be open to everyone, but as I started getting more serious in enhancing my tech skills and moving to android development some of those people who were below me started envying my skills and exclaiming that I’m wasting my time or saying I wouldn’t make. There was so much low-esteem. As I started to move away from those type of people and surrounding myself with people will high profiles and high standards things then started to shift for me. I started understanding android UI and UX much better and I also improved my writing and always learning something new every day. Those that said that I wasn’t going to be anyone then started to think about what they said and then began to have a little faith in me. But listen! You don’t need to wait till they believe or try to show them, all you need to do is impress and improve yourself.
Cross-Platform with school and your goals in life
*This is advice applies for students so if you aren’t one you can skip this paragraph
School is important for all of us in many different matters but the way we apply it is also important. If you a student you NEED to split your school work from your business. School is important reason being its because in a way it factors your mindset in many different ways and you’d be able to easily fight through challenges because you always did that back in school. I understand some school systems around the world aren’t as great, which I believe you but listen: just get the best out of it. I, say this to many people “play the systems and take your shares from it”. What I’m trying to tell you is that you should just go to school and get good grades. Go to school and get the degree and there is a reason why. Think of this way: globally 80% of startups fail and the market is so saturated so what is so special about your startup that would for sure let you in the market? I, personally am working on a startup but I’m still in school because if my startup failed at least ill have a degree and get a job business related. From the business, I can learn so many new skills then work off from there and create another startup. Just know with school it’s both a win-win situation.
Hanging out and fun time
Good things don’t tend to come that easily. You have to fight for what you want. Like my dad told me yesterday “Jayson, the way you run a race and you want to win first place that is the same energy you need to put in school and for your grades”. When I have a midterm or final coming around the corner I usually use up my weekends studying for it than spending time with family or friends and when that happens my grades land on higher percentages (%). Now if you put this concept in a business mindset you need to prioritize. You need to use every moment like it’s your last hour living. Always make a use of it.
No schedule means you wasting your time
This is a problem I personally am struggling with right at the moment and this can affect you in many ways which I’ll get back to in a moment. Every day when I get on the computer there are 3 -4 things I am only interested in doing. I only want to code, write articles, read articles, and apply for internships and everything similar to that topic but there are times which I get distracted and squander off some other sites like YouTube and end up there for hours. So building a schedule would help because you are much more formalized and less tended to detour from your goal.
Hopefully this would help you create stronger startups with a detoxed lifestyle
