Detach Yourself From The Outcome Of Your Writing

Detaching yourself from the outcome of your stories is detaching yourself from the physical impact they have onto other people. Outcomes like comments, claps, highlights are physical circumstances that have nothing to do with what your stories were supposed to mean to your soul.

Being indifferent to the physical circumstances, the reactions of your readers, is what enables you to persist in your ideas and towards your healing, your well being.

A lack of reliance on the physical world provides the writer the needed satisfaction in whatever he knows he’s becoming, even though nobody else can see that right now. It’s a peaceful process and an individual one.

Manifest what you want to become as a writer without any attachments from the outside world. Once you’ve become that then the physical circumstances will soon follow. That is an unwritten law, not to be concerned about while going through the process of becoming.

The physical environment will change to reflect your inner environment. But the physical circumstances won’t bring you the internal fulfillment which you desire. Because they are searching for confirmation from the outside world instead of within yourself.

The confirmation from the external world will come if you confirm it from within and allow that to be enough. Stop drawing your motivation and energy from something so perishable and short lived as other people’s opinions and support.
