My love is like the Santa Anas, hot and then so cold.

You might wonder why I’m like that, could it be our love’s grown old?

Or could it be that who I am is not the one you sought.

That what you know to now be true is nothing like you thought?

If that’s the case, what have I done, what have I brought us to?

Is there still time to feed the fire, feel the heat between me and you?

Sherry McGuinn is a slightly-twisted, longtime Chicago-area writer and award-winning screenwriter. Her work has appeared in The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, and numerous other publications. Sherry’s manager is currently pitching her newest screenplay, a drama with dark, comedic overtones and inspired by a true story.

Thanks so much for reading. Here are a few more of my ramblings.
