Departed
A prompted poem

She looked in on the world which once had been hers
So desperate was she to return
She saw her life and loves and all she held dear
Oh how her wretched soul did yearn
But none could see her now nor hear her calling
Her horror since she’d departed
The life which she had loved was no longer hers
Still, she watched the broken-hearted
