Next steps and to-do list:

1. Make sure you are registered with Draft2Digital (and email us your username)

2. Make sure all your posts are sent to DEP in Word or Google Docs document

3. Make sure all your citations are up to date — no links in your article, and citations are at the end of your article as well as properly cited for book publication. Please see Vidya’s last prompt #5 post for directions if you have any questions on this.

4. We will not be publishing Unsplash or other internet pictures in the book, only your own pictures. If you want a picture with your story please send us one, it needs to be the correct size and format for Draft2Digital — please look it up. Pictures in the digital book will be in color in the printed book, black and white.

5. Let us know your marketing plan for the book and also, if you have any ideas for the rest of the group for marketing.

6. Please get ready to share information about the upcoming book on your social media sites.

7. We are looking for a few people to review the book and write a review for us please send us ideas if you have someone in mind.

8. If you have not, please join DEP Twitter and DEP Facebook pages.

The fun part of writing the stories is done now and the tasks of editing, publishing, and marketing are still ahead of us. Please completed and double-check the steps above to make this a smoother process for everyone.

Thank you for participating in this project, please reach out if you have any questions or any ideas for marketing.
