Denial
On the pedestal adorned, LOOK — the northern ridge —
behold betrayal,
the springing springs of denial,
drunk on tears, thin lipped
The Sun five meters pace
caresses the distance,
“What is your name” asks the Sun?
“Three”, claims Denial, hastily braiding palms
“Silver”, responds Betrayal, herding 11 sheep
“What is your name” betrayal asks the Sun,
“Rooster”,
— And death sobs in sorrow,
on the southern plateau — Justice crows, sun-blocked
Phosphorus, nailed upon my door reads clear skies,
as high as a kite, life bleeds on the western front
Hypocrisy bickers with the repetition, of
those — the weight residing in my chair,
micro-expressions tip the scale
The Sun worshipping yardarm, belts a break,
scrambling the golden egg, each claiming saffron
rebellion sets the table, 12 ounce curls
Ancient sin, modern amenities—
Faith ergative, crows — crosses two palms
“A non denial, Denial” on the eastern rise,
All hémisphères in one basket — case.
