There are very few, if any starters as delightful as homemade spring rolls! H-o-m-e-m-a-d-e S-p-r-i-g- R-o-l-l-s!! Not from a packet out of the freezer, what!? Lovingly prepared packed with prawns or just vegetables, if you’re a bit mad, then hand-rolled in pastry deep fried served with a sweet chilli sauce dip; and love.

If there’s no love and pride, there’s no taste, end of.

They are not that easy to find either as they take time to prepare, undesirable in a small busy Thai kitchen, tis far easier to reach into the freezer of icicle death to pastries retaining water to deep fry with.

Yeah, think about this one, not very tasty.

Freshly made spring rolls with no added water, taste so much better than the frozen sort. Of course, you need a dedicated spring roller like my wife who cares about the food sent out from our kitchen.

Needless to say, I’m her number one spring roll fan encouraging friends or restaurant guests, we don’t have customers they are friends, especially after they take up my good advice eating spring rolls for starters!

The look of delightful surprise on their faces as flavour explosions burst on their tongues, unable to control facial muscles and eyes is a joy to witness.

With this, when world travel opens up, get yer arses over here for our Delightful Homemade Jai-Dee Home Spring Rolls!

See you when you see me.
