December's Fourth Week Prompt Of Lifeline Publication

It’s time to celebrate

Photo by Kelsey Chance on Unsplash

Greeting Poets,

Welcome you all to another prompt of Lifeline publication. Hope you all are doing great and had a wonderful weekend.

This is the last prompt of December. I hope you all are enjoying the holidays. To make your holidays more exciting and joyful, I am here with another thought-provoking prompt.

In 2021, so many good and bad things happened. There is no year in which only good things happen. It’s time to review the year. Events that you remembered some of are worse and others are good.

It’s time to go into the flashback of 2021. Take your diary, and write all the important events of 2021.

“I don’t regret what I’ve been through. I’ve had ups and downs, super highs, and some low lows. I’ve been so blessed that I could never say, 'I wish this didn’t happen.' It’s part of who I am. There’s nothing in my life that’s so ugh.”

-Jennifer Lopez

Every year that we have to live is a blessing. We have lost so many people around ourselves just because of the Covid Pandemic. 2020 and 2021 both were the tough years of a decade. I have never seen this kind of situation in my entire life when people were struggling to live their life. Pandemic taught a lot of life lessons to all of us.

You can always make your life a blessing or curse just by changing your view of life. We all have regrets in life, but it should be our choices that whether we just have to sit and regret or we can do something to make our lives better.

“You can look in the mirror and find a million things wrong with yourself. Or you can look in the mirror and think, 'I feel good, I have my health, and I’m so blessed.' That’s the way I choose to look at it.”

-Isla Fisher

We are blessed because we have so many things in life. We can’t decide that we had a bad year because of some unusual and bad events. Everyone has those bad days and events in their lives.

Therefore, this week’s prompt is about recalling your best memories, events and cheering yourself up to start a new year with enjoyment and happiness.

This week’s Prompt is,

Review the year, write down the events that you can recall which made you feel that life is a blessing and it makes you feel good about yourself. With all that in mind, write a beautiful poem and toast to yourself.
