December Writing Prompts for The Happy Human
The last prompts of the year.
Somebody, please pinch me. How is it possible that it’s almost December already?! It seems that this year went by at the speed of light. Maybe you feel the same way.
That’s why I wanted to slow down and focus on a little reflection in the following prompts. I hope they help inspire you and take your mind off any difficulties you may be facing.
Prompts:
- What is your favorite Christmas memory?
- What was your favorite part of this year, and why?
- What are you grateful for this year that you took for granted in past years?
- What tips or tricks have you developed this year to feel calmer and more contented?
- What advice has helped you the most this year to overcome negativity and find joy?
I hope you all have a lovely, peaceful holiday season full of love and laughter. Thank you all for being here; I value and appreciate each and every one of you.

P.S. My family just got a kitten, so I thought I’d share. His hobbies include sleeping, eating, sleeping, chasing his tail, sleeping, figuring out that water is wet, and sleeping. He also loves naps. ;)

Update:
I originally wrote these prompts a year ago, and understandably, Pippin has grown quite a bit since then! Here’s what he looks like now:

His hobbies still include sleeping and napping, and, like his namesake, he also loves second breakfast. ;)
