As we had just entered December, it was apparent that a Christmas theme would be on the horizon when it came to our competition, and I will stick to a poem for this one, once again.

I want to have some fun with this one, so I hope you join in with the festive nature, a bit of fun, along with a bit of tradition.

What poem do I want?

Well, I want you to re-write the 12 days of Christmas (song) in a poem format. If you are unsure of the song and enjoy a bit of a giggle, please, I beg you to watch this Youtube video.

I want a sprinkle of Christmas. If you can add some humour, that would be good.

The Prize

We will have a winner and a runner up for this one.

Our first place winner will take $20, and second place runner up will take $10 in prize money. Once again, this is out of my own pocket, and I also run another competition in “New Writers welcome.
