Death Is A Blessing
Pain is the lesson
Since I was a little girl I’ve always wondered why people cry when someone dies. When my grandpa died I remember asking my mom, “Isn’t it a good thing papa’s back in heaven?” She looked at me expressionless as if she thought I was crazy. She even got a little mad because of how insensitive I sounded. 10 years later, she no longer cries when people bring up her late father. She always tells them she’s happy he’s back where he needs to be.
To anyone who doesn’t understand our perspective on death, this can sound super morbid and even a bit cold-hearted. I’ve even had people give me weird stares when I express my opinions on death.
I don’t see death as an ending, I see it as a rebirth. Death to me isn’t the end of someone because your soul can never die.
People often forget that our physical bodies aren’t necessarily who we are. These are our god-given vessels meant to hold our true selves — our souls. Your physical body represents you in this lifetime, but your soul represents you throughout multiple lifetimes.
You may be asking if I even cry when someone dies and of course I do! We depend on some people in life more than others and when those people leave this realm, it hurts like hell. But I always remember the fact that it’s actually not my last time seeing them ever again.
When someone dies you can still sometimes feel their energy lingering around you. When my grandpa died I was young, but I remember having dreams of him visiting me. Even to this day, I can still feel his energy hanging around from time to time and I know it’s because he’s checking up on me. I know I gained a new spirit guide.
Death doesn’t have to mean a physical death either. In tarot, the death card literally means shedding your old skin and coming back as a new person.
Death can mean the decay of your toxic traits. It can mean getting rid of unnecessary layers holding you back from reaching your full potential. Regardless of what’s dying, you’ll always come out stronger.
Death gives us divine insight and knowledge in a way we would not be able to experience without it.
When someone physically leaves this world they leave with newfound wisdom that they didn’t have before. I personally believe in reincarnation so to me when someone is born again, they are even wiser than they were in their previous life. Life doesn’t knock them down as easily anymore because they understand the way things work. This is why it’s so easy to recognize when someone has an old soul — they literally have wisdom beyond their years!
Death is painful and there’s no denying it.
Whether it’s the physical death of someone or the death of the old you, it will unleash a deep pain from within. Pain triggers the healing process which is what makes you a better version of yourself. This agonizing, uncomfortable period is always needed in life. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to ascend higher and the natural balance of life would be thrown off.
If you’re currently dealing with someone close to you who died, remember that they’re not completely gone. The soul that you love is still always around and will forever be around. This soul will only get purer and purer as time goes on because of how much divine wisdom it’s collecting.
I’m not saying to ignore your pain. You should actually make sure you let out all of your emotions in order to heal properly. But always remember pain brings lessons that are necessary for the growth of everyone involved. The divine is blessing you with the strength to overcome anything thrown your way.
Once you realize the reason behind the hardships you face, you’ll gradually learn to become grateful for them.
I’m sending healing energy your way and wishing you the best of luck on your journey!
