“Dear” Season 2, Now Streaming On Apple TV+

In June 2020, Apple premiered its new documentary series executive produced by Emmy and Peabody Award Winner R.J. Cutler, titled “Dear”. Apple have now premiered the second season which begins streaming as of Friday 4th March.
The new series is inspired by Apple’s own “Dear Apple” spots. In “Dear” we are presented with an innovative and cinematic look at the biographies of some of the most iconic figures in society through letters written by those whose lives have been touched through their hard work. The first series featured ten episodes and will included internationally recognised people such as Oprah Winfrey, Gloria Steinem, Spike Lee and many more.
The second season is set to feature ten more episodes each spotlighting an internationally recognised leader and is set to include:
- Academy, Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress and producer Viola Davis
- Two-time Academy Award-winning actor, producer, New York Times best-selling author and activist Jane Fonda
- Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay
- Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award-winning actor and singer Billy Porter
- Former Vogue creative director and journalist Andre Leon Talley
- Golden Globe and SAG Award winner, and Emmy Award-nominated actress Sandra Oh
- Renowned waterman Laird Hamilton
- The NBA’s all-time leading scorer and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
