Dear Santa, Can You Find Me at My Grandma Smillew’s House?
Please don’t ignore me this year

Dear Santa Claus,
This is Billy Smillew. I’m not gonna be home this Christmas, and I’m so scared you won’t be able to find me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m super excited about spending the holidays with Uncle Smillew and Grandma, but I still want you to bring me presents.
For the last two years, I have asked my family for a jogging suit like my grandmother and cool uncle wear. My mom says they don’t make anything that shiny for little boys. The shiniest she could find was satin. So, I decided to ask you this year.
Your elves can make anything in their workshop, so I figure a gold or silver lamé tracksuit should be no problem. I’m not super picky about the color, but I do prefer lamé over sequins.
My uncle thinks he’s too grown up to ask Santa for anything, so I’m asking for him. He’s always whining about how he doesn’t have any paid subscribers on something called Substack. It would be great if you could give him some of those.
I’m not sure Grandma needs anything. Her favorite thing is hot cocoa, but she has lots of that. I guess she could always use more, though. She also likes hats.
Please don’t forget about Pushok. He’s a really sweet cat, but he can’t seem to keep his paws out of the toilet. Maybe it would help if you brought him some cat nip toys. Even a grocery bag will do.

Again, I won’t be home this Christmas, so please bring my presents to Grandma Smillew’s house.
Thank you, Santa!
