Dear Mr. Altman Is This Really Your Hidden Endgame?
When asked in Bankless interview about the synergies between OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Worldcoin, Mr. Altman basically said, “It’s too early to tell! We’ll have to see”. Is that what he tells his investors in Worldcoin? I apologize Mr. Altman, but I doubt that! That said, your vision and execution are breathtaking. Respect!
Mr. Altman, if the following outlines your endgame, I’d understand your hesitation in communicating it to the public. It could be:
- Difficult to communicate the full vision because it consists of many parts
- Challenging for many to grasp, necessitating a gradual introduction
The World Information Oracle
OpenAI first introduced ChatGPT, which quickly gained global recognition. This was followed by the launch of Worldcoin, emphasizing proof of personhood (verified via iris scans).
Drawing inspiration from James Bond:
“The world(coin) is not enough!”
There is a missing link for Mr. Altman to become the “The World Information Oracle”:

InfoGrader It represents a superior form of digital watermarking for various web information types, encompassing author validation through digital identity verification. This platform could then facilitate human and AI grading of information quality, allowing entities like OpenAI to source top-tier information while bypassing false data.
Why is InfoGrader needed?
Let’s start with some basic information trends:
- In 2018, McKinsey predicted AI would reduce information production costs by 80% by 2030. Current AI advancements suggest this forecast may be conservative
- The World Economic Forum, in 2020, estimated an annual 10% reduction in information production costs, even before generative AI breakthroughs like ChatGPT+
These cost reductions anticipate a surge in content creation. Quantity. This means:
- Fake information. Think spam mail and then some
- Pervasive and varied biases, potentially catalyzing the rise of extremist communities
Quality of Information is Imperative!
As Humans there is lots more to comprehend. While AI bots can assist in sifting through immense data volumes, the accuracy and quality of their sources are paramount. Remember Google’s triumph in the “web search war” with its PageRank? The subsequent boom in the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) industry tried to decipher Google’s algorithms — largely through trial and error, due to lack of transparency in PageRank.
For Mr. Altman, the next step could be a new decentralized, transparent information grading system, one that retains users’ trust and complements his commitments to open-sourcing code and decentralizing its governance.
The Promises of InfoGrader
Imagine a world where everyone, including AI, can:
- Understand how information is assessed, including the credibility of its sources and evaluators
- Influence ratings across web content — be it video, image, or text
- Ascertain the authenticity of information, distinguishing originals from replicas
- Respect and uphold copyrights through paid access
Mr. Altman’s Potential Strategic Pillars
The foundational technologies behind this vision might include:
- OpenAI: Predominantly AI-driven, evolving beyond just generative models
- Worldcoin: Initially a blockchain technology as Ethereum’s Layer 2, but integrating more AI over time
- InfoGrader: A combination of AI and blockchain, enabled by AI-generated smart contracts
Mr. Altman, if this resonates with your strategy, then you are not just the one who:
Brought AI to the general public, but also the one who brought Blockchain to the general public!!!
By completely changing the narrative on how Blockchain, not through DEFI and financial transactions directly, but through the evaluation of information assets came to the masses.
But Mr. Altman please do remember this level of power comes with a level of responsibility unseen in human history.
Curious for More?
A follow-up post is in the works, where I’ll delve deeper into InfoGrader.org, examining:
- Harnessing AI and blockchain within a single application
- The impending challenges facing digital watermarking initiatives if they solely rely on AI
- Revealing one more reason why Mr. Altman has not gone public with his Endgame yet
Personal Note :)
Dear Mr Altman,
If you are going to read this post, I highly doubt that, I just wanted to inform you about the current price of InfoGrader.org:

Notice it comes with a discount! I will of course leave it open for you!
