Dear Joe, I Never Said It Would Be Easy — A Note From God

When I breathed life into you, I was preparing you to lead a country back from the brink

From the beginning of your political career, you have had to also deal with life-shattering personal tragedy.

Not once, but twice. First, when you lost your wife and daughter to a horrendous car crash just as you won your first Senate seat and then to lose your son Beau while in office as Vice President.

Throughout your campaign, your empathy is what has resonated with the American people. They saw something special in you — a warm, confident dignity.

You didn’t put anyone down, make fun of anyone, or grab anyone by a part of their body. You grabbed us by our hearts and minds.

Now, you have been elected President of a nation that has had the equivalent of that trauma you experienced done to them. That’s why I chose you, Joe. You know how to empathize — you can heal the people.

First, I had to show them the contrast. The people needed to see what could happen if they weren’t careful. That a wannabe dictator could easily sneak in and stir up a propaganda campaign so malignant yet convincing to so many blind followers that said over and over again — people believed him. “Covid is going away” and “fake news” and “there are fine people on both sides.”

Trump’s blind followers were willing to commit acts of violence on his behalf. Even though he has demonstrated outright contempt for them. Your predecessor’s selfish aggrandizement was on display for everyone to see. Yet, his followers shrugged their shoulders and allowed him to trample on everything good and right.

And now it’s your job to bring integrity back.

You need to be so much better than that to make up for how much worse that guy was. But you already know that.

Your personal losses have made you the “Empathizer-in-Chief,” not only “Commander-in-Chief,” and this broken nation needs your healing love.

I’ve been preparing you for this moment your entire life.

Love,

GOD
