Dear Body
A love note
Dear body, I love you
I’m sorry for all the times I made you feel like You weren’t enough
The truth is that I’ve spent so much of my life scared And I took it out on you
I’m working on that
But in the meant time, I wanted to tell you Just how strong + Beautiful you are
I see you, every day Showing up No matter how we slept Or how you feel
You’re doing an incredible job And I am so lucky to have you
Thank you
This poem was written as a kind of prayer of gratitude, a mantra you can repeat to yourself in moments when you feel disconnected from your body, when you are tired or in need of love. Let yourself receive these words fully. You are so deserving of a beautiful, rich, embodied experience of life.
