Starting with a new favorite — Emma by Paola Opal

Between being a full-time freelance writer and taking care of my baby as a new mom, I haven’t had nearly as much time to read. I miss reviewing books, so instead of my usual book reviews, I thought I might as well review baby books.

In an attempt to add some variety to my days, I’m going to be reading a new book with my baby every day. I know once she gets old enough to have a preference, I’ll be reading the same book 1000x in a row, but I get to choose for now.

Each review will be based on how fun it is to read the book. I’ll keep reviewing until I run out of books or I run out of time.

Today, we’re starting with Emma by Paola Opal.

The Review: Emma by Paola Opal

Emma is about a little hedgehog and her family. The plot is very simple but interesting. And, the illustrations are absolutely adorable. This is one of my absolute favorite books to read with my baby because it’s just so cute. I hope my little one gets obsessed with Emma as she gets older. I’d happily read this one over and over.

I borrowed this book from the library initially and then bought a copy because my husband and I liked it so much. I’m getting more books by Paola Opal for my baby for Christmas because this is the only one my library has and we need to read more of them!
