Today, we’re reading My First Christmas Board Book.

The Review: My First Christmas Board Book

Published by DK Children, My First Christmas Board Book is made up of multiple pages with several photos related to Christmas on each page and the word underneath. With a baby so young, I’m the one pointing and saying all the words obviously, but given that we’re just a week or so away from Christmas, it’s enjoyable for me. She’s just happy to look at things.

This particular book is borrowed from the library, and this edition happens to be out of print. I definitely want a similar book in the future. Probably not Christmas-themed because that limits the time I can use it. I think a book with realistic photos and words of everyday objects would be a good addition to a little one’s bookshelf.

Also, Pinterest has convinced me I will need a morning basket when she becomes a toddler, and a similar book from DK Children would work well for that.
