Day 8 of the 30-Day Writing Challenge

What’s something you gave up on in your past that you’re thankful for and why?

Created in Canva by Nancy Blackman

Maybe your parents made you do something like play piano, football, ballet, or rugby, and you hated it! So, finally, you quit, and you felt relieved.

Maybe it was later in life. You started down a career path, and soon you found that it wasn’t for you.

How long did it take before you realized you couldn’t do it anymore?

I was certain that I was to train to be an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). I did the training and passed the certification. Then, I went out to get a job with an ambulance company. It lasted about 1 month. Every morning I woke up with a pit in my stomach.

What is it for you?

Now, get to it! Happy writing!
