💯 STORY CHALLENGE

“I look hideous…” she sighed as she stared at the mirror in defeat.

“No, you’re not. You look beautiful,” he said from the bed.

“Just look at this fat!” she said exasperated as she pinched some skin on her side.

“You’re love handles?” he asked as he leaned up to catch a glimpse. “Easier to pull you close with.”

She rolled her eyes. “What about the stretch marks? They’re disgusting.”

He sat up on the bed and stared at her for a moment. “That’s not what I see. I see memories we’ve made together. The family we’ve made.” He wrapped his arms around her from behind and nestled his head on her shoulder. “I see the woman I’ve grown to love more and more, day by day.”
