Day 5: The Sickest I Have Ever Been

Today’s prompt in case you haven’t guessed already is “The Sickest I Have Ever Been”

During the height of the covid pandemic, I got quite unwell, to put it mildly. No, it’s not what you’re thinking it wasn’t covid it was much much worse.

Throughout the daytime, I had been suffering from quite a bad cold coughing, sneezing and having a sore throat the usual symptoms. As you could imagine after putting up with this for 12+ hours I was exhausted and couldn’t wait to just go to bed, oh boy would I regret that.

The second I had gone to bed and laid down it got so much worse than I could have imagined. I constantly needed to cough/sneeze with such force it was impossible to stay laid down. I quickly decided to sit up and wait it out until the medication I had taken before bed had enough time to take effect.

That was by a longshot the worst night of my life I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy. I did up getting a couple of hours of sleep in the end.
