Day 2 Of Shopify 30-Day Challenge

Tik Tok Offers a “What’s Trending” Page!!! 😲

Day 2 of my 30-day Shopify challenge.

If you have not read my first article, you can read it below. I go over what you need to do to start dropshipping.

I know it is early in the challenge, but I was sorely disappointed with the amount of traffic I got yesterday.

I ran a Pinterest ad and a Tik Tok “promote,” yet the traffic wasn't stellar.

You can see the meteoric rise in traffic, but the amount that actually clicked to my site was disheartening.

Pinterest sent me a message telling me I should change my images to better optimize my campaign.

That was a GREAT recommendation, as I looked at my campaign and saw I was using the same image in each ad.

This is a newbie mistake.

I ran 5 Ad Groups and targeted a different audience in each group.

For those unfamiliar with this lingo, what I did, and am doing, is looking for an audience.

The best way to do this is to create ad groups targeting specific keywords, keyphrases, demographics, cities, countries, etc.

This is what marketers mean when they say they are looking for an audience.

So, what I did was create five ad groups, and I changed the headline for each ad, as well as the audience.

I made the bonehead mistake of just using ONE IMAGE, which is silly.

When you run ads, you have to test and use different images to see which will drive more clicks to your store.

So bonehead mistake number one has been fixed.

Thanks, Pinterest, for the recommendation.

Today, I have been listening to a few webinars on Youtube. I have watched an hour of this video below.

The amount of GOLD 👑 this guy gives his viewers is insane.

Tik Tok, like Facebook and Pinterest, offers a “What’s trending “ page, making it much easier to run ads and know exactly what to run ads on.

This right here…is phenomenally helpful.

As mentioned, I have a budget — and listening to many of these successful dropshippers, they say you need around $500 to $1000.

So, I cannot play around with the money I have.

Budgeting smartly is necessary, and knowing what is trending on Tiktok, which demographics, and what countries these trends are popping off in is beyond helpful.
