The gist of the challenge is that before we can publish one article, we have to actively engage with ten other articles (that are not our own).

561 Responses divided by 53 publishes = 10.58 responses per story published (which is honestly what I kind of was going for…since I publish 1–2 times a day and I ultimately want to respond to 20 a day).

Ultimately, the goal of this challenge is to see if we can get higher earnings by genuinely responding with interest to other people’s writing…which ultimately is going to help other writers as well (love being a Friend of Medium!)
