Dating and Remote Displacement
Where did you put it?
You might be with someone that you have been with for a while, and though the two of you get along most of the time, you might have an issue when it comes to the television remote. You and your partner might have two different places for this remote, and when you are looking for it, you may not be able to find it. So, what do you do if your partner moves your remote around so you can’t find it? How do you deal with this type of situation? Though the answers to these questions may be different for everyone, here are a few suggestions.
1. Compromise on a common place.
Try to talk about this issue and do your best to compromise on a place that both of you can agree on. This might make it easier for both of you to find the remote when you need it, and it might help eliminate having to search for this device.
2. Get a remote holder.
Get a holder that is meant for the remote and place it there. Having a place that is designated to hold the remote might make it easier for both of you to remember to put it back. This might eliminate arguments regarding misplacing the device and make things run more smoothly.
3. Get a voice-activated television.
Instead of having to worry about finding the remote, get a voice-activated television. This might help you change the channels without having to worry about finding the remote.
If you and your partner have been together for a while but the two of you disagree on where to put the remote, talk about this issue. Try to find a common place to put the remote, or try out a voice-activated television.
