Dancing With The ABC’s
An abecedarian poem
A bumbling ballerina cheerfully charms the crowd with delicate yet daring steps and embraces the spotlight as she floats, almost flies gracefully through the air, heavenly bound it seems and instinctively intuits the inspiring jazz in toe-tapping beats and then jauntily kicks high and leaps across multi-colored netting draped upon the stage, overwhelming the audience with her pirouettes though she quivers with nervousness until she remembers the magic of her ruby satin slippers and starts to twirl and twirl unafraid, venturing off stage into the warm and welcoming dream of being a xenas, strong and confident woman who says “yes” to every challenge, yielding with zeal to the zigs and zags of life.
Her zeal for dance shapes her life even as random letters in my mind dance together to compose abecedarian poem.
What a fun challenge! An abecedarian poem, alphabetically structured to follow the alphabet, is a new format for me but was just what I needed to work off my turkey induced slumber.
Thank you, Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她) for this challenge!
