Dancing with My Wildflower Heart
Monday Wild and Wonderous Prompt: Write a piece using the words “dancing with my wildflowered heart”

My Wildflower Heart
Though I appreciate a beautiful garden The well tended structured beauty and smells I admire the dedication to keep it watered and weeded to thrive and glow
But my heart sides with my dandelions the morning yellow pasture sets my heart aglow My neighbors might not like it the mower roars to end it But I’ll let you know I do let it go and extra day or two just to show it.
To walk through a field of flowers called wild Sets my heart aglow with the colors and the scope Nature casts her seeds and hopes There is nothing like a frolic on a sunny lazy day To see nature’s garden in all its vast majesty.
The Wildflower Ball
Care to dance in a meadow with me? Dare to dance in a meadow with me? Share nature’s garden and dance? There needs to be a carefree dance at the Wildflower Ball come join Where we are free to just be Our hearts and the flowers wild.
Reflection: The prompt struck a love I have for wandering through the fields in Romania, up a hill or by a river. The first the thoughts of doing that and the second poem a fantasy ball with someone special.
Peace be with you
