Participants Announcement

Please join me to congratulate the participants for the first Dancing Elephants Press Book Project of 2022.
We have received so many wonderful applications that your editors Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, Sharing Randomly and Lady Dr. Gabriella Korosi decided to do two groups for the book. The Dancing Elephants Press Book Project will have a Part 1 book and the Part 2 book. Same rules and participation for both parts of the book and same starting and ending times. The books will be published on the same day.

First steps:
Send your e-mail to your editorial team at [email protected] to receive consent for participating in the project no later than 2/10/2022. Return your consent to participate no later than 2/14/2022.
Reply to this post acknowledging that you are still planning to participate in the book project.
Monthly participation requirements:
· We will use Google Drive to collaborate you will be invited via e-mail when participation is requested
· Please use the #Dep Book Project tag when posting for the monthly prompt
· Submit a biography by the end of February a prompt will be posted today by Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles. We will use your biography in the books as well to start to pre-promote the books by featuring an author each month on social media.
· Requirement is to post a minimum of one 800–1000 word article on the featured topic of the month.
· Requirement for every resource and quote to be cited in the body of the article by year and original author’s name and at the end of the article with a full resource citation of a book, article, or webpage. We want to make sure to avoid any plagiarism.
· Optional to post a poem and /or an additional short article for the monthly prompt.
· Minimum for poems — 100 words
· Minimum Short forms — 300–600 words
· Minimum for essays — 800–1000 words (one is a must for everyone)
· You can also submit various formats to achieve the word count
· Requirement for your main article is to include an introduction, body, and conclusions/lessons learned
· Respond to at least one of your coauthor’s main articles with a minimum of 2–3 sentence supportive comment. This comment will be shared in the book. Make sure that each article has an equal distribution of comments.
· Alert your editors if you notice mistakes this book is a collaboration.
Publishing Platform:
Draft2Digital — this platform allows payments to multiple authors and distributes the books to Libraries, internationally, on Amazon, on Barnes and Nobles, and other Bookstores. This is the only platform we have found that allows the collaboration of multiple authors and setting up multiple payments for the authors. If you know of any other platforms, please let your editorial team know.
