Dancing Elephants Press — 1st Annual Book Project
March Updates

We started an adventure with 23 writers a few months ago. The goal for our publication and our book is to spread positivity, good vibes, and joy in the world through sharing stories and research when applicable.
Thank you to our wonderful writers and fellow authors for being here and participating in this project with us. We have completed our first prompt about positivity. We have received many wonderful articles.
You can read and respond to the wonderful articles here.
Author biographies can be read here.
We are in a process of compiling the articles into one document to create a format for the book and to make it easier for us to read. Please make sure you send us your articles as a Word doc or a Google doc to [email protected]. Providing a link to the article is not sufficient as it creates a lot of extra work for your editors.
We have started to work on our second prompt Health and Wellness and have been receiving the articles this month. The deadline for this prompt is April 9th.
The Health and Wellness articles can be anything that relates to the topic including your own self-care experiences. Health and Wellness are also part of our everyday life and mental health as it was greatly pointed out by Art Bram in his article Humor is a Great Starting Point for Improving One’s Health and Wellness.
Please check out the second prompt here
Reminders:
· Please Interact with your fellow writers/authors to get to know each other and collaborate. This is an important step. We are publishing a book together. Your responses to each other will also be part of the book.
· Please write a meaningful at least 2–3 sentence response to your fellow writer’s articles.
· Please send a word or google doc document of your article to [email protected]
· Please follow the format of beginning/introduction — main body of the article and conclusion. Please see Dr. Preeti’s articles — she provides a wonderful format in her articles. You can use words like in summary of…in conclusion…to outline…
Please make sure that you are citing your references in your articles in the body of the article and at the end of your article.
The article below from Dr. Preeti Singh is a great formatting example.
· Please make sure that your subtitle indicates that this post is for Dancing Elephants Press Book Project, the prompt, and your group number
