Abstract

any do not see day-to-day.

I have read in books that Niagara Falls is one of the greatest wonders of the world and something that I couldn't quite bring into perspective how beautiful it was. Before my trip, I knew that Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, and other attractions were real, but only on paper. I could only view statistics and pictures but was never able to experience the sheer beauty until my trip. Possibly the best part of my trip was that the Falls were in a very far away place that I have never been to, so I knew that an adventure was imminent.

Only seeing something like a statistic or only as a picture is one thing, but when you are able to witness something so beautiful firsthand, is absolutely amazing. When a person views a picture of wonder like Niagara Falls, the picture cannot describe how it really is. When I was younger, I never thought that the falls were actually there, or as amazing as they are, I only saw pictures of them.

But an image does not relay all five senses to a person; a picture relays sight and, in a sense, tangibility. When you experience such a thing firsthand, and all five senses pick up many new smells, tastes, sounds, and sights, you realize that the world is lovely in many ways.

This made some of my childish imaginative thoughts go away and enabled me to think more realistically after witnessing something as gracious as the falls. I would call this a coming of age for me since I found myself thinking more realistic and mature due to the realization of the sheer realism and beauty of Niagara Falls.

The best time to visit Niagara Falls is June to August. Dallas-Cleveland-Niagara Falls-Vermont-New York

A road trip full of adventures!

We flew from Dallas to Cleveland {Hopkins International Airport} which was a pleasant journey. We planned to go from Cleveland to Niagara Falls, meet my cousin in Vermont, and proceed to New York.

In Cleveland, we've got world-class experiences without the world-class ego. We have visited some of the best attractions of Cleveland, which are below:

Karamu House and Theater

MGM Northfield Park

Soldiers & Sailors Monument

Visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame during your time in Cleveland, Ohio, and see the exhibits at your own pace during your self-guided tour. Musicians in the Hall of Fame include The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, the Supremes, Metallica, Michael Jackson, and Parliament/Funkadelic.

The direct drive from Cleveland to Niagara Falls is 211 mi (340 km) and should have a drive time of 3 hrs 26 mins in regular traffic.

We enjoyed a road trip from Cleveland to Niagara Falls; we researched for you and compiled some great stops along the way — with Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls is the most popular city on the route — it's 3 hours from Cleveland and less than an hour from Niagara Falls. The top towns between Cleveland and Niagara Falls are Niagara Falls, Erie, and Buffalo.

I was privileged to take a trip out east to visit a series of unique landmarks and cities. I could visit trendy cities, including Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and New York City, during the trip. Many people hear about such beautiful places, but very few can travel as far from home as I did and visit such unique sites. An extraordinary landmark that my family visited was Niagara Falls in Niagara, New York.

Niagara Falls is one of the most powerful falls in North America and attract many tourists each year. The most comprehensive portion of the falls is located in the Canadian province of Ontario, which we did not visit. My family left on our trip around seven o'clock in the morning and started heading east as early as possible; my family knew we had a large drive ahead of us.

Before we left, I made sure to check the weather on the Weather Channel, and many meteorologists suggested that along my journey that there would be very unpleasing weather for the occasion. During the drive, I was very pleased to see many beautiful pink and white colors on most of the foliage I could notice; witnessing such beauty foreshadowed the upcoming beauties that I would see on my trip.

Arriving at Niagara Falls in New York, I was shocked to see how breathtaking the falls were. The weather was very calm, blue, and sunny, and this was a very good thing since my trip was not ruined due to bad weather. The rainbows glistening in the mist really seemed to amaze my family and me; this is something that many do not see day-to-day.

I have read in books that Niagara Falls is one of the greatest wonders of the world and something that I couldn't quite bring into perspective how beautiful it was. Before my trip, I knew that Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, and other attractions were real, but only on paper. This made some of my childish imaginative thoughts go away and enabled me to think more realistically after witnessing something as gracious as the falls. I would call this a coming of age for me since I found myself thinking more realistic and mature due to the realization of the sheer realism and beauty of Niagara Falls.

New York City geography is composed of five boroughs. While Manhattan and Staten Island are islands, Brooklyn and Queens are geographically part of Long Island, and the Bronx is attached to the US mainland. Bridges, tunnels, and ferries link the islands.

We visited the Statue of Liberty, America’s most iconic sight! Central Park, Metropolitan Museum, Empire State Building, 9/11 Memorial and Museum, Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Grand Central Terminal, Lincoln Center, Wall Street, and many more interesting places!

Manhattan Island is roughly 13.4 miles long and about 2.3 miles wide at its widest. Except at its northern and southern tips, the borough's avenues run roughly north and south, and streets run east and west. One-way thoroughfares are typical, with traffic moving east on even-numbered roads and west on odd-numbered streets.

It was lots of fun in New York, and lastly, we packed our luggage back to Dallas.

In this post, I don't want to miss sharing my experience in Virginia last year, and the most interesting was visiting Homestead Farm.

My Visit To Homestead Farm, Virginia!

Picking up Pears and Cherries

During my last visit to Virginia, USA, Early morning at 8, I left for "Homestead Farm," which was approximately 60 minutes drive from Fairfax. The specialty of this farm on that particular Saturday was to pick peaches, 🍑 blackberries, and apples 🍎from trees.

It was a new experience for me, (although I remember during my school days, along with some of my friends, we used to pick mango and guavas from the trees while returning from school and that also without permission)😂

So you can say this was my first obedient and official picking of fruits from the trees.

It has a two-dollar entry fee, and when you enter, they will provide you a tractor with a long Passenger wagon (with twelve to fifteen people seating arrangements), by which they will take you to the trees which are covered by peaches, blackberries, and apples.

They will provide you with a small carton of peaches and Apples and a plastic bucket for Blackberries if you need to take massive quantities from all of them; for that, they have a trolley basket with the wheels.

There was a small restaurant inside the farm selling snacks and juices/milkshakes. They have one store inside through which they were selling honey and other vegetables.

I collected a good quantity of all the three fruits, which was enough for one week. I feel the freshness and the taste of each fruit which were quite different from what we usually buy from our supermarket (maybe because of cold storage).

It was an enjoyable experience for me.

After wandering for 4–5 hours on the farm, I left for Fairfax.

So, to have a good day and a healthier one tomorrow, take yourself outside more often than you're used to.
