Daily Haiku #11: Ants
a poem about a group of tiny insects
We march from the mound
and back again, but this time
with gifts for the queen
Ants are quite fascinating little creatures, aren’t they? Troublesome, yes, but they seem to work so well together. How often do you figure ants quarrel? How often does one ant get distracted by his surroundings and lead the whole line away from their destination? I’m curious, but not about to research it. I guess I’ll stay curious.
