Young lovers coupling in the splendor of the grass at night. His eyes lock on hers and he’s mesmerized by all of the reflection of the moon in her wide open pupils and her legs waxing and waning around the small of his back. Tonight, they shall start a family — their simultaneous orgasm ignited by the passion of lunacy.

Moonlight calls them forth male and female intertwine cosmic energy love’s tidal pull is so strong Nature’s law of attraction

This poem was inspired by a segment of a PBS show I just watched about the various mating habits of diverse species across the Pacific. In particular, the mating practices of a species of sea worms off the coast of Samoa. I found this clip on YouTube:

Here’s another interesting video I found about the amorous effect of the moon:

I feel compelled to somewhat tangentially add that there is no such thing as the law of attraction as vomited by spiritualists. It’s total horse shit. If I lose some followers, good riddance. My biggest issue with this crap is that devotees preserve their law by blaming those who cannot manifest their desires for vibrating negative energy. There is no greater vibration of negative energy than such victim shaming and blaming. I also happened to read a great piece today by a writer, You, Me and Happiness, who dispelled the notion of this law from another direction that I had not yet seen. She points out in her story:

Saying “I create my own reality”, really does not make sense as we live in a CO-CREATIVE reality.
