Where legends are made,/legendary moves are made/to ensure that legends’ will never fade.

Where we style our own trends/campaign hats’, Max Julians’, and top tens’.

East side/west side/here, both sides/the best side/we don’t collide/we ride.

Together/because together/we overstand that we can make things all together better.

Shout out to the Ren Cen and Motown Music/we know we possess talent, so we never abuse it/we use it.

D.E.T, R.O.I.T/the place that helped me see/all I needed to see/to be all I can be.

Hutchinson Middle School and Northern High/I can’t lie/in days gone by/I use to be drunk, and higher than the clouds in the sky.

Caught some bad breaks’/but they healed quite nicely/sort of how I recite this verse so precisely.

We live and we learn/before we crash and we burn/to give the next generation their turn.

But it’s our duty to show them how it was meant to be done/by never being left labeled second to none.

I second that notion/undying love and devotion.
