Curious Case Of Cats

A poem on why the little cat preferred ignorance over curiosity

it ran for its life as the little cat jumped towards it like a lion

the dog escaped to its granddad dog the oldest in its family

granddad asked the dog what happened and why are you breathing so heavily

the dog replied I got chased again by that little cat it is such a disrespectful cat

how could it even imagine attacking me I am so ashamed granddad

I wanted to teach it a lesson but could not that cat treats me like a rat

the granddad dog replied with a laugh Do you know the secret power of cats

I do not know what it is asked the dog with curiosity

the granddad dog replied: that little cat does not realize how small it is it thinks it is so big

all those cats aren’t curious enough to check if they are really that big as they think in their little mind

and especially the little one who made you flee like a rat perhaps thinks it is of the size of an elephant

and so my grandson sometimes ignorance is bliss and curiosity might kill it
