Cry of Mother Earth

Plead Guilty or get cursed.

I was pure & pristine. When I gave birth to humans, They slaughtered my love.

I would like to share a small historical truth of the present situation as mentioned in the great Indian scriptures of Srimad Bhagavad Gita.

In the Indian philosophies and scriptures, the purity of the earth has been compared to the degree of 16 celestial(purity of the highest level) at the commencement of the golden age or Satyuga. Nature was peaceful and blissful because the deities that existed during that era were purely divine. The relationship between humans and nature was full of respect, love, and honesty.

But, as time passed, the onslaught of vices like greed, anger, lust, hatred, attachment, and arrogance, in the human minds spoiled the play. Now no more considered deities, the human fell to the lowest degree of purity(Tamopradhan), started behaving selfishly. They started squandering the resources of nature without giving a second thought of the repercussions.

In addition, the consumption of alcohol and slaughtering the animals for dietary purposes became prevalent in society. As a result, nature could no longer remain in its original pure state.

The report card of our actions is out in open. The food we eat has lost most of the major nutrients, unpredictable seasons, untimely calamities like earthquakes, tsunamis, and storms, occurrences of new and new epidemics of viruses .

What possible reason do we have for the catastrophe of coronavirus?

Isn’t this, a small way of revenge.

The entire mankind is merely a spectator to this situation. Even the scientists who boasted their superiority have been shaken to the bits. The structure of the virus also looks like a crowned king which is clearing doubts about superiority.
