The sub-title is a misnomer. I have already highlighted three articles this week, so this is more like Top 3 part 2.

As we all know, this is the election season in the USA. Nothing brings out the stupid in people better than politics. Intelligent people seem to put their brilliance on the shelf temporarily, and start talking nonsense as if it was the smart thing to do.

My friend Holly Jahangiri, who is new to Medium, but not new to writing, finally shared one of her brilliant pieces on Medium. It’s a reprint from her blog from a couple of months ago, but still.

Corona Virus is all the scare these days. There is so much propaganda and misinformation that no one knows who to believe. We never stop to ask, who is benefitting from this mayhem, because if we did, we could discern between the truth and falsehood.

Thomas E. McDaniels takes a stab at it and makes a lot of sense in his analysis of the situation. Well worth a read.

If you are a writer and want to make money from your writing, then you would be interested in Robert Turner’s research into three of the platforms that cater to writers. While I write on Medium and have signed up for Substack for building a mailing list, I am not familiar with Vocal, the third platform he mentioned in his brilliant comparison of the three.

I am always in awe of writers on Medium who do such a splendid job of sharing unselfishly for the benefit of others.

Thank you for reading, and please take a minute or ten to read and support these wonderful writers.
