Creator of Love is in The Air, P’Mame Takes Y-Series by Storm
P’Mame has Pioneered the Y-Series Movement to Showcase Love Without Gender
P’Mame is an accomplished novelist, screenwriter, and founder of her own production company, Me Mind Y, in Thailand. Her talent to choose couples we will never stop loving until the end of time is unparalleled. P’Mame’s story began when she took the Y-series by storm with her popular manga, TharnType.
When she first started as an author, she simply wanted to see her story come to life. Although she could not fathom where to start, with a dream in her hand, she founded Me Mind Y. She took her drive and courage and never stopped learning everything from screenwriting to casting, investing, and creating a corporation.
Love by Chance

Every drama series P’Mame touches turns into gold. In 2018, Love by Chance was taken over by production company Studio WabiSabi and this series gave us heartthrob shipped couples, Pete and Ae, along with Can and Tin.
Unfortunately, the production company chooses not to include Pete’s character in the sequel. Unfortunately, drama plagues the casting and bad press. The series left an unpleasant taste in everyone’s mouth and harmed the actor’s livelihood involved. Author P’Mame wrote the original storyline, which was well-received by the audience.

TharnType
TharnType, from manga to series, gave us Season 1 and Season 2: 7 Years of Love, A Wedding Special, and Our Final Love Story. We could not get enough รักควรมีสองคน. Over 3.8 million people have read the manga for TharnType’s first love story. Hate it, Let’s be love ล. More than 38k people have read the sequel, 7 years of love. Over 169k people have read TharnType in English.

Out of this troupe of the good guy who falls for the enemy, Mew Suppasit and Gulf Kanawut rose to stardom in this Thai love story. This journey began in 2019, and the world still has not recovered from TharnType’s love story or real live shipped couple, สองรัก คอร์ด MewGulf.
We had three years together with romance, love, passion, and erotic kisses. You could feel the chemistry burn the screen with these two. This drama series took the Y-series industry higher than ever before. It wasn’t a series insulated in Thailand; it garnered a fandom across the globe.

MewGulf Shipped Couple of the Century
Watching Mew and Gulf act together is mesmerizing. You cannot help but keep your eyes locked on them. Together, they exude confidence, sex appeal, and star talent. Their skill set is natural and organic. The storyline, along with the acting, transports you into a world that makes you feel everything the characters are enduring. You cry when they cry. When they feel pain, their heart breaks. When they separated, it seemed as if your heart was being ripped out.

Don’t Say No with Leo and Fiat
TharnType was one of those dramas that will stay with you forever. This is the power of P’Mame’s storytelling. TharnType 2: 7 years of love introduced new shipped characters Leo and Fiat, which led to a beautiful spin-off, Don’t Say No, เมื่อหัวใจใกล้กัน.
The Impact of Y-Series on LGBTQ+ and Same-Sex Marriage Rights in Thailand
The Y-series, as they call it in Thailand, and internationally we call it Boys Love, has been a slow burn. Considering Thai politics and the stigma attached to same-sex marriages in Asian countries, it took time for the idea of two male leads to take hold.
P’Mame, her real name Ma-y-Orawan Wichayawankul, has pioneered this movement for equality. Her drama series, อำนวยการบริหารการผลิต: อรวรรณ วิชญวรรณกุล, TharnType, came onto the playing field at the perfect time. As the world was put on hold, Kdramas and BL dramas took center stage. Suddenly, everyone had their eyes on South Korea and Thailand.
Thailand has gained the reputation of being one of the most LGBTQ+ friendly communities in Asia. However, the rights of same-sex marriage have been an uphill battle. Thanks to trailblazers like P’Mame, she brought us love stories not bound by gender. Love that was sweet, romantic, caring, protective, up and down, fighting to understand one another and have that happy ending. She showed us that love did not have to be only hetero-normative to be beautiful.
We are not only being introduced to same-sex love stories by novelists like P’Mame, but also tackling issues such as harassment, crossing boundaries, and social issues that plague all cultures and societies regarding sexual assault and safety.
The Y-series has created a soft power and fandom across the globe. It is not showing signs of quieting down with P’Mame’s new drama series, Love in the Air.
Love in the Air #บรรยากาศรัก
Is there a secret to creating stories so compelling that we can’t take our eyes off the screen? How does she cast couples with chemistry that melts our hearts? Just when I thought no shipped couple would ever come close to the chemistry of Tharn and Type, she had birthed Phayu and Rain. Love in the air is currently an on-air series.
Yaoi, Love Storm Novel

Actors Boss plays Phayu and Noel plays Rain, who have all the sweetness, protectiveness, teasing, and passion that Tharn and Type had with the handsomeness to match. The visual appeal gives us the hottest romantic scenes and takes up the mantle for best kissing.

Once again, she has another widespread hit Y-series drama on her hands. As we are in the middle of the series, we are waiting with bated breath for Prapai and Sky.
P’Mame is a woman-led powerhouse in literature, the world of Y-Series, and the Thai entertainment industry.

Mayakal, the Series Coming Soon
P’Mame has a brand-new series coming, Mayakal the series.
“If I could go back in time, I would like to have the opportunity to say I love you once.”
This is a love story about sacrifice. It’s considered a new dimension in the Y-series industry in Thailand.
I’m moving to Thailand in 2023. I wonder if I could have dinner with her. My dream would be to work on scripts at her table alongside her team, and to learn from her. Who knows, dreams come true every day.
