Creativity Out Of Reach
Daily drabble word 85 — prosy

A Drabble is a work of fiction that is exactly 100 words. No more. No less. Please be so kind as to remain on this page for 30 seconds, so this short story will count as a read. If you enjoy my story, I would appreciate it if you would clap, highlight, and comment. Thank you.
Lauren’s head had throbbed with pain this past week.
She wanted to keep writing on her blog, but her brain wasn’t cooperating. Her creativity drifted out of her body.
She took naps, hoping to get rejuvenated.
It did not work. When awake, she felt like her brain was still asleep.
Lauren looked at her long list of drafts, hoping for inspiration.
Whenever her fingers flew across the keyboard, she disliked what she wrote. It was so prosy.
She feared she would lose readers.
Lauren was only able to eke out her short drabbles, but nothing longer.
Thank god for drabbles.
