Weekly Mentions
Diving into this magical world was like finding a secret door in a familiar room. He skilfully blends the mystical with the mundane, making me chuckle at the thought of poets as the ultimate rebels. More than mere words, their craft becomes a daring dance with the arcane. I highly recommend it for a peek into a world where every verse is a spell, and every rhyme is a rebellion.
From Judy Haratz Cohen
Judy spins a cheeky yet heartwarming yarn, blending the quirks of ageing pets with AI shenanigans. A mix of laughter and awws, it’s a must-read for a light-hearted escape.
From Jessica's Quill
I wandered into this tale like a lost tourist and felt like a local. Jessica spins a magical yarn that’s both whimsical and heart-tugging. It's worth your time if you fancy a dash of magic with your romance.
From Colleen Millsteed
Colleen nails it with a quirky mix of dread and humour, making you nod and chuckle. Starting with dreamy vibes and then flipping to a gut punch of fear, she crafts a relatable journey from bed to the kitchen, with a cat as a dread barometer. It’s a light yet gripping read that ends on a surrender note, which oddly feels like a victory. It is a must-read for its unique charm and simplicity, perfect for anyone who’s ever debated the day before coffee.
From Richard Dee
I loved Richard’s knack for making sunrises feel fresh, like a new adventure. His stories, woven from dawn’s inspiration, are a joy to dive into. They make me want to grab my shoes for a cliff walk and dream up my worlds. I highly recommend it for a spark of creativity!
From Laura Ann
Laura weaves a cracking tale of childhood bravery (or folly), with a hint of the supernatural that’s just right for escapism—a must-read for those who fancy a mix of suspense and a good giggle.
From LC Lynch
Leah’s piece hits home — it’s a journey of the creative block we’ve all faced, ending on a hopeful note. It’s clever, relatable, and a must-read for anyone needing a nudge.

Weekly Prompts
Written Prompts:
- Craft a tale about an interstellar ball or event where species from different galaxies wear holographic disguises, hiding their true forms while sharing stories of their homeworlds.
- Narrate the moral and emotional challenges faced by a scientist tasked with terraforming a new planet, knowing that doing so would destroy the native, albeit primitive, ecosystem.
- Create a narrative about a world where humans must merge with machines to survive, exploring the intersection of humanity and technology.
- Invent a tale about a world where time flows differently in various regions. How do the inhabitants navigate this strange temporal landscape?
- It is in a sprawling space market where anything from across the galaxy can be bought and sold. You can create stories or poems about bizarre items, alien cultures, and intriguing characters that populate this market.
