Walking in the Woods Sparks My Creativity
I find creative joy in my nearby nature

Walking alone in the woods at dawn is the best way to trigger my creativity. I’m so happy we live in a place where there is a forest right outside my door. The ideas strike when nature’s smells, colors, and sounds mix with the many thoughts in my head. I find peace as I walk among thousands of trees.
October, Halloween month. As you can see in the picture below, my surroundings could have been taken out of a scary movie. I love it. The light is magical.

My creative process
When I do my evening walk, I think about life in general and ideas for stories. Whenever inspiration strikes, I take notes on my iPhone. Often I just write a few words and occasionally whole stories. At the same time, I keep looking after those special little things to photograph.
Along my way, I pass some beautiful and friendly cows. We always have a little chat, mostly about food and the weather.

I find creative joy in my marvelous nearby nature, amongst trees, mist, and cows.
